What is an LLM (Large Language Model)?
A Large Language Model is an AI system trained on vast amounts of text to understand and generate natural language. GPT-4, Claude and Gemini are examples. In app development, LLMs power features like natural language inputs, content generation and intelligent assistants.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. We configure all AI integrations to ensure your data is not used for third-party model training. This is a contractual requirement with our AI providers and a fundamental part of our GDPR-compliant approach.
Where is AI-processed data stored?
We use Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Document AI, Firebase) with European data residency configured by default. All data processing remains within the EU, in compliance with GDPR requirements.
What's the difference between AI and classic automation?
Classic automation follows rigid, pre-programmed rules - it breaks when inputs are unexpected. AI models infer intent from natural, unstructured inputs and adapt. The result is more flexible, user-friendly systems that handle real-world ambiguity far better.
Can AI replace complex business algorithms?
Often yes - and with far less code. Instead of 50 lines of parsing logic, a well-prompted LLM can extract the same information from unstructured input in milliseconds. This is particularly effective for document processing, form interpretation and natural language commands.
Is AI 100% reliable?
No AI model is 100% reliable - and we're transparent about this. We design integrations with appropriate fallbacks, human review steps and confidence thresholds where reliability is critical. The goal is a measurably better outcome, not perfection.
How do you avoid "gadget AI"?
Simple: we ask whether the AI integration genuinely improves the user experience or operational efficiency in a measurable way. If the answer isn't clearly yes, we don't build it. Every AI feature in our portfolio exists because it solves a real problem better than the alternative.
